First, obtain clearance from your surgeon before starting VED use.

Next, follow the instructional videos above, which guide you from initial setup through proper use and storage.

We recommend daily sessions lasting 10–15 minutes. The goal is to create an erection, hold it briefly, release the pressure, and repeat. Always follow your physician’s guidance regarding duration and frequency.

Each Timm Medical system includes multiple tension rings. Once you are able to achieve a full erection, begin with the ring that has the largest inside diameter. If it does not maintain the erection sufficiently, move to the next smaller size until you find the best fit.

Timm Medical devices, including the Esteem® line and PTV Automatic 2000 and 3000 systems — are FDA-cleared medical devices manufactured under FDA regulations and equipped with standard safety features.

They also include a 5-year warranty and a 30–90 day return policy, which is uncommon with retail novelty devices.

Medicare discontinued coverage of Vacuum Therapy Systems in 2015, and most commercial insurers followed. Even with supplemental coverage, reimbursement is unlikely.
